Friends and Sponsors
Music in the Burnhams is extremely grateful for the ongoing support of our very generous Friends. The Friends help the Charity to continue to support musicians and allows us to bring world-class performers to our area. This year’s designated Friends concert is the recital by the famous classical guitarist Craig Ogden in September.
The Friends will be able to join us for a small reception with the artist after the concert. Other benefits of becoming a Friend include priority seating at concerts, invitation to Friends’ only recitals and events and the opportunity to meet new and old friends.

Sponsoring Music in the Burnhams
Music in the Burnhams began life as a community interest company in 2021 and in February 2024 became an independent registered charity (Reg Number 1207171) focusing on;
- hosting a range of musical events throughout the year, where local people can hear the very best classical music, close to home, at an affordable price and in a comfortable, informal and friendly environment.
- partnering with local schools to advance pupils’ appreciation of music and participation in making music – especially those who would not normally get the chance to do so.
Sadly, grants are few and far between, so we rely on our Friends and Sponsors to help us bring such quality music to the Burnhams and Brancaster. We are a very small charity, with no paid staff, which means that we are able to operate cost effectively. We generate some income from our various events, but deliberately keep ticket prices low, so that as many local people as possible can hear and see the incredibly talented musicians who come to play in our villages. We make no charges to the schools, children, or parents for our workshops. We therefore depend on the generosity of sponsors and our loyal ‘Friends of Music in the Burnhams’ to support our provision.
We have a range of attractive sponsorship packages so why you call us on 07989 177079 or email on admin@musicintheburnhams.com to discuss what is possible.
