Sara Reavell Dyson was formally educated in painting in Florence, at the Camberwell school of Art and the Ruskin school of drawing in Oxford.
A grasp of life drawing enables her to be aligned to the moment. This is why watercolour is the perfect medium to describe the concert, the performance.
Timing in art is as important as the rhythm and the pace of the composition in music. The artist and the musician are both recreating a sublime experience separating themselves from the ordinary as they work towards a higher ideal.
As a medium of love and passion they are intertwined. The music and art connect only through the present, the painting is the record of that vision.
