Patrons

The Rev'd Canon Malcolm Rogers

‘Thank you for your kind invitation to me to become a patron of Music in the Burnhams. I would be delighted to accept.

I think Music in the Burnhams does an amazing work: providing extremely high-quality concerts, building community, supporting young musicians (and those who are more experienced!), working with schools and inspiring young people, and most recently your very exciting project with MIND.

Thank you for your creativity, energy, deep commitment and enthusiasm, your ability to motivate volunteers and your passion for both music and using music to build up peoples’ spiritual, emotional and mental well-being.

I would be proud to serve as a patron’

Matthew

I am delighted to be a patron of Music in the Burnhams and support the collaboration between the charity, Music in the Burnhams and Mind, the national mental health charity. As a music loving psychiatrist, the concerts bring two of my own passions together and it’s not hard to see why a collaboration between music and mental health charities is apt. Music in the Burnhams has been instrumental in fostering a community where music is a source of joy and connection, while Mind has tirelessly worked to support mental health across the nation. Their collaboration is a beacon of hope for many, demonstrating how the arts and mental health advocacy can come together to create something truly special.
