The cellist Adrian Bradbury (www.musicianscience.org/index.php/biography) is appointed the new Artistic Director of Music in the Burnhams
Commenting on the appointment founder and chair of trustees Marian Abramovich said “Since I first met Adrian and grown to know him, I realised and rather frighteningly he is a clone of myself. He is passionate about music, loves reaching out to the community and always aims for the best. We love eating out, laughing a lot and hate the elitism of some classical music events. I know Music in the Burnhams is in safe hands although I am not disappearing, just concentrating on what I am best at- growing a business.”
On his appointment Adrian said:
“I’m truly honoured and excited by this appointment. From my very first appearance at Music in the Burnhams it was evident that here was a concert series unlike any other, a 5-star independent amongst high street chains, one focussed not just on excellence but also on the wonderful community it serves. I will do all I can to ensure Music in the Burnhams continues to bring the musical elite to all, and can’t wait to get started!”
