7PM – Hymn

The concert will present a varied programme of music:

– The Happy Couple (support – 20-25mins) 

– ‘in sea’ performance with the school group 

(interval) 

– hymn (45-50mins) – ’the second sky’ 

The hymn performance will feature the title track from our recent release, ‘the second sky’, with the trio of Chris Dowding (trumpets & electronics), George McKay (double bass) and David Ross (electronics) joined by guest violinist Sylvia Hallett, to form a cohesive quartet configuration. The evening’s programme will begin with the gentle, folky melodies of The Happy Couple, presenting a  programme of their instrumentals around seascape and their relationship to the coast.
